On April 17, 2025, 51���� Kazakh National University celebrated the Great Day of Nowruz — Az-Nowruz — on a wide scale and at a high level. This festive event has become an important day for the university community, promoting spiritual values, honoring national traditions, and recognizing achievements and contributions.

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University, Zhanseit Kanseituly Tuimebayev, took part in the celebration and warmly congratulated all attendees on the Nowruz holiday. In his address, he emphasized the importance of renewal and creativity, highlighted the role of science and education, and expressed gratitude to the university community for their contributions to the nation's future.

As part of the celebration, the significant achievement of the Faculty of Law was specially noted for its contribution to the development of the university's scientific and academic potential. In particular, the Center for the Study of Chinese and Central Asian Law and the China–Kazakhstan Legal Research Center, operating under the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law, were awarded the title "Best Center – 2025".

The award was solemnly accepted by the Head of the Department, Guldana Amangeldikyzy Kuanaliyeva, who noted that this recognition is the result of the collective efforts of the faculty team and the dedication of students striving for excellence and knowledge
