On the eve of the Science Day, a round table was held at 51 Kazakh National University with the participation of doctoral students of 1-3 courses. The purpose of the event, organized by the Faculty of Oriental Studies, is to encourage young scientists, share experiences and increase their interest in academic careers.

Kuanysh Tastambek, Director of the Department of Science and Innovation at KazNU, opened the meeting and congratulated the participants on the Day of Science Workers.

In turn, the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Natalia Em, expressed warm wishes to the doctoral students. The meeting was moderated by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science and Innovation and International Relations, PhD Saya Alipova.

At the meeting, Professor Nabizhan Mukhametkhanuly made a meaningful presentation on the topic "Strategies for effective work with a supervisor."  Historian Myrzakhan Egamberdiev presented a report on the topic "The process of defending a doctoral dissertation and the activities of the dissertation council"

Nazim Kairanbayeva, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists, PhD, and Nazerke Khamitova, a 3rd-year doctoral student specializing in Oriental Studies, spoke about their research work.

The participants shared their experiences and exchanged views on the difficulties and achievements in conducting scientific research. At the end of the meeting, distinguished teachers and young scientists were awarded letters of thanks for their success and contribution to the development of the university.
