On April 8, 2025, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) “Quality Education,” a scientific seminar titled “Introduction to Research Methodology” was held for doctoral students and young scholars. The event was organized by Dr. Bayan Nursultanovna Zhubatova, Acting Professor and Director of the Arab Studies Center at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

The seminar was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Shynar Sayakhatovna Kaliyeva. Doctoral students from the Department of the Middle East and South Asia as well as from the Nur-Mubarak University (specializing in Islamic Studies and Religious Studies) participated in the seminar. The seminar featured important and valuable information. Doctoral students raised questions related to their research topics and shared that they received thorough and insightful answers.

As part of its continued support for doctoral students, the Arab Studies Center plans to regularly organize additional meetings and seminars focused on preparing scientific publications and conducting deeper research into their chosen topics.
