Open Seminar Conducted with 3rd-Year Students of the 6B02207 – Oriental Studies Educational Programme

On 7 April 2025, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries, Nazym Shuinshina Meta, conducted an open seminar for 3rd-year students of the 6B02207 – Oriental Studies educational programme. The seminar, part of the "Media Language of Eastern Countries" course, focused on the topic: “Electronic Media. Linguistic Features in Social Networks. Bloggers’ Writing Styles”. During the seminar, participants examined the emergence of new words borrowed into the Turkish language via the internet and social media, alongside the development of distinctive styles in online communication. The session was conducted to a high standard, with students actively engaging and demonstrating keen interest in completing all assigned tasks.
The open seminar was attended by Deputy Head for Academic, Methodological, and Educational Work, Agnur Khalel, as well as faculty members of the department.
