The Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science Meirbayev B.B. delivered a welcoming speech. He began by presenting the project that formed the basis of the discussion platform and emphasized its importance. Abikova G.M., Head of the Rare Books and Manuscripts Service of the National Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, delivered a congratulatory speech. Then Toreali Yedilbayevich emphasized the importance of Islamic studies and the high potential for conducting relevant research in this area. He emphasized the need to avoid distortion of data and distorted information when working with historical literature, citing previous works as an example. Bekzhan Berikbayev覺ch and guests Toreali Yedilbayevich and Gulshat Masalimovna held a ceremonial cutting of the new monograph. Professor Ainura Durbelinovna continued congratulatory speeches, emphasizing important aspects of the study. The monograph "Muraq" describes the brief life and history of the founders of the Kazakh Khanate, starting with the khans Kerey and Az Zhanibek and ending with the last khan Kenesary Kasymuly, the religious situation during their reigns, their connections with scientists and the khans' attitude to education.
Then the series of presentations was started by Associate Professor Mustafa Celil Altunta. He gave a methodological report on the topic of "The Contribution of Manuscripts to Historiographic Methodology." Reporting on the results of his research, he demonstrated the influence and connection of the features of written works with the field of historiography using examples.
Mukhitdinov Rashid Srazhovich, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Islamic Studies at the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak, put forward three important issues for research in the field of Islamic studies. First, this is working with the original. During the study, he emphasized the importance of mastering Arabic, Persian and Chagatai languages, as well as understanding and conveying the originality of the works. Previously, we understood the works of scholars from the Turkic steppes, such as Farabi, through translations from other languages. Now that we have the opportunity to graduate specialists, studying the original is our top priority. Secondly, it is better to move on to a detailed study and generalization of the works of individual scholars, rather than relying solely on a general descriptive and historical basis. Thirdly, limiting the Kazakh steppe to its current borders leads to limitations in research. Likewise, the origins of the Kazakh language date back to the 20th century. He emphasized that the history of the Kazakh language dates back to an earlier period than the Kazakh Khanate, even earlier than the Turkic and Kipchak eras, and that it is very important to base it on the ancient Kazakh language. He focused on five dictionaries that are of great importance for the Islamic world and world civilization as a whole, thereby providing food for thought for future researchers.
Associate Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies Azamat Shutbaevich Zhamashev gave a detailed report on the legacy of scholars of the Kazakh steppes, whose missions he undertook within the framework of the project, preserved in the archives of Turkey and Uzbekistan. He compared the manuscript collections of the two countries, presented a brief summary of the results using statistical illustrations and outlined plans for future research.
The series of reports was continued by the Director of the International Center for the Study of Scientific and Cultural Heritage, Mr. Zhomart Dorbetkhan, who presented a report on the methodology of Kazakh poets of the 19th century. The uniqueness of the poets of the past was revealed in the manifestation of the spiritual connection between Abai and Akhtyt Ulimzhiuly. Senior Lecturer of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies Mazhen Yernar Kalmakhanovich gave a specific example from the religious views of Bukhar Zhyrau. In conclusion, Acting Head of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies Kaupenbaeva Samal Mukhametalievna and Deputy Head of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies Baltymova Mira Rashidovna reported on the events held within the framework of the IV Farabi Forum, invited participants to the following events, noted the fruitful results of this discussion platform, emphasizing that state scientific projects give both relevant and important results. The event generated new ideas and opinions, which brought great benefit to students, master's students and doctoral students in the field of religious studies and Islamic studies.
