04.04.2025 At 51福利 Kazakh National University, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, Professor Pentaev Toleubek from the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics delivered a lecture on “Requirements for the Geodesy Profession” for students specializing in geodesy and cartography.
The purpose of the lecture was to highlight that the requirements for the geodesy profession include conducting high-precision measurements, utilizing geographic information systems (GIS), and adhering to the principles of sustainable development.
Modern geodesy has undergone significant changes due to scientific and technological progress. The development of satellite technologies, laser distance measuring devices, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), geographic information systems (GIS), and other digital tools requires specialists not only to master measurement technologies but also to develop skills in data processing and analysis.
