51腦瞳

On April 4, 2025, the annual international scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists "Farabi Alemi" completed its work at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the 51腦瞳 Kazakh National University.

In her welcoming speech to the participants of the conference, the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, PhD in History, Associate Professor Yem N.B. noted the special importance of participation in conferences of students and young scientists, demonstration of research results. Natalya Borisovna also emphasized that the conference "Farabi Alemi" is the basis for educating the young generation of the country's academic potential and the foundation for the development of modern science in Kazakhstan.

Students, master's students, doctoral students and young scientists from Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Russia and China took part in the conference. Young scientists revealed topical and significant issues of oriental studies in their reports. During the presentations, articles of theoretical, practical and applied nature in various fields of oriental studies were presented in the following sections:

1. Politics and economy of Eastern countries, relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Current issues of Eastern languages and literature.

3. Society and religion of Eastern countries.

4. History and culture of Eastern countries.

At the end of the conference, the members of the commission noted the high-quality articles and the high level of preparation of the participants. This year, the competition for prizes was very intense. The commission assessed not only the important criteria of scientific works, such as novelty, practical and theoretical significance, relevance of the work, but also the ability of the participants to present their work. The conference ended with the ceremonial awarding of certificates of participants and honorary diplomas of the winners.
