On March 19, 2025, a seminar on the topic:  «Kazakh National Dishes: National Values as the Future of the Country» was held to explore the essence of cultural heritage and national values. This insightful event was organized by Janargul Smagulova,  the  first-year master's degree  degree student specializing in Applied Kazakh Linguistics, under the mentorship of Associate Professor of Kazakh Philology, Dr. K.T. Mukhamadi.
The seminar aimed at  celebrating  and promoting  Kazakh national cuisine, emphasizing its unique characteristics and health benefits while sparking interest in preserving cultural values. First-year students from the Hydrology program (6B05203) actively participated, contributing to the engaging discussions.
The event provided an opportunity to delve into the richness of Kazakh culinary traditions, which are deeply rooted in the use of meat, dairy, and flour-based products. Participants presented creative posters, defended their ideas in front of an audience, and demonstrated exceptional oratory skills. Each group showcased a specific category of dishes, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and a deeper understanding of their cultural significance.
An important focus of the seminar was the revival of national values and their relevance for today's youth. The participants concluded the event by sharing innovative proposals for national branding, aiming to preserve and transmit cultural heritage to future generations.
This seminar marked a meaningful step in understanding the societal role of national values, emphasizing their importance in cultural identity and self-determination. It underscored the significance of preserving the unique legacy of ancestors as a vital element in strengthening Kazakh identity.
