On February 7, 2025, the lecturers of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, Natural Compounds, and Polymers, Z.A. Kenesova and A.Zh. Alikulov, together with first-year students of the educational programs "Technology of Pharmaceutical Production" and "Chemical Technology of Organic Substances," visited the Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth named after G. Musrepov to watch the play "Bolmagan Balalyk Shak"."Bolmagan Balalyk Shak" is a profound story that touches on themes of childhood, family, and overcoming life’s difficulties. This play is closely related to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
🔹 SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) – the play raises issues of children's psycho-emotional state, the impact of trauma on personality, and the importance of mental health care.
🔹 SDG 4 (Quality Education) – culture and art are essential parts of education, broadening horizons and developing critical thinking.
🔹 SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) – the story highlights the importance of creating equal opportunities for children regardless of their life circumstances.
After the performance, we discussed the social and psychological aspects of the play with the students. Such events not only enrich cultural experiences but also encourage reflection on important societal issues.
