Second-year master’s students of the educational programs "Ecology," "Geoecology and Environmental Management," and "Life Safety and Environmental Protection"successfully completed their research internship at the D. A. Kunaev Institute of Mining. This internship was conducted within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 8, which aims to promote sustainable economic growth, decent employment.
Students specializing in "Ecology" and "Geoecology and Environmental Management" completed their internship at the Laboratory of Ecology and Rational Subsoil Use, where they studied advanced methods of environmental monitoring and sustainable resource management. As part of their practical work, the master's students analyzed the impact of industrial facilities on the environment and developed proposals to mitigate negative environmental effects.
Students specializing in "Life Safety and Environmental Protection" conducted their internship at the Mine Aerology Laboratory, where they explored issues related to mine ventilation, ensuring the safety of mining operations, and minimizing the harmful effects of aerosols on workers in the mining industry.
