The Farabi Library hosted a presentation of books by scientists from Iran and Kazakhstan

The Farabi Library hosted a presentation of books prepared as part of three-year joint projects between Kazakhstan and Iran to study the legacy of the thinker of the East Abu Nasr al-Farabi. These books were compiled in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, K.Tokayev, following an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran on June 19, 2022.
Based on the ideas laid down in the works of the thinker of the East, scientist al-Farabi, these books are designed to expand relations and the level of mutual understanding between the Iranian and Kazakh peoples.
At the opening ceremony of the presentation, the Acing Vice-Rector for Social Development of KazNU, Sabit Suatai, delivered a congratulatory letter on behalf of the Rector of KazNU, Zh.Tuimebayev. The rector emphasized that the study of the legacy of Abu Nasr al-Farabi is an important step in strengthening ties between countries, as the ideas of the great scholar are still relevant today. "These books not only preserve and transmit knowledge, but also help to better understand the cultures of both countries. It was also mentioned that the exchange of delegations, the organization of cultural events, and joint projects in the field of education and science will further strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries"
The project leader, advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ali Moujani, in his speech noted that the main goal of the project is to attempt to ensure continuity between today's and future generations, based on the legacy of 51, with the aim of shaping the image of an ideal society.
The event was attended by the Acting Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty, Bahman Agarazi, the Director of the Printing House of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Habibolla Malakutifar, prominent Kazakhstani scholars, university professors, doctoral students, master's students, and students.
