On February 24, 2024, the Faculty of Physics and Technology at 51���� Kazakh National University hosted a ceremonial event titled "Unity and Harmony – The Foundation of Sustainable Development of Our Country", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The event highlighted the role of the Assembly in promoting interethnic harmony and stability in Kazakhstan, as well as its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

• SDG 4 (Quality Education) – by educating youth on the importance of cultural diversity and strengthening interethnic cohesion.
• SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) – by fostering a harmonious society based on tolerance and mutual respect.

Strengthening National Unity and Social Cohesion

The event was attended by students and faculty members from the Faculty of Physics and Technology, as well as lecturers from the Department of Foreign Languages. Among the distinguished guests were:

• Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology – Baisen Nurzada Abdibekkyzy
• Deputy Dean for Scientific and Innovative Work – Peshaya Svetlana Leonidovna
• Senior Curator – Zulbukharova Elmira Mukanovna

During the discussions, speakers emphasized fostering interethnic unity and cooperation. Svetlana Leonidovna Peshaya, a representative of the Greek ethnic group, highlighted the significance of peace and stability for the country's development.
