A solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and March 1st – the Day of Gratitude was held at the "Farabi HUB" center of 51���� Kazakh National University.

The event was attended by government and public figures, representatives of the Almaty city akimat, ethnic cultural associations, the university's faculty and staff, and students.

The Day of Gratitude is a celebration of Kazakhstani patriotism, unity, and friendship. This year, the country also marks the significant milestone of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, an organization that has become a symbol of unity and harmony for Kazakhstan's multiethnic society.

Congratulating all the guests and participants on the holiday, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, emphasized that the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was established in 1995 with the goal of strengthening interethnic harmony and cultural diversity in the country. Over the past 30 years, it has become an important tool for dialogue and cooperation between various ethnic groups, helping Kazakhstan maintain peace and stability. 

The event also featured speeches by Professor, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Lyudmila Ekshimbayeva; Professor, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Grigory Mun; Senior Lecturer, PhD Anastasia Skripnikova; Senior Lecturer, PhD Takashi Ninomiya; and Candidate of Philological Sciences Fatima Mamedova. They expressed their gratitude and highlighted the importance of preserving peace, stability, and friendship in the country.

During the festive event, KazNU faculty and staff, as well as representatives of the university's partner company "Qazaq Story", were awarded the gold medal "Farabi", the "Eren Enbegi Ushin" badge of honor, honorary certificates, and letters of gratitude from Akim of Almaty city and the rector of KazNU.
