Faculty Members Participated in the Seminar on SDG Localization

On February 19-20, 2025, a two-day seminar was held in Almaty, organized by the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in collaboration with UNDP. The seminar focused on the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the preparation of the next Voluntary National Review.
The event was attended by the Acting Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB) Dauliyeva Galiya, Lecturer of the Department of Economics, Gulmira Andabaeva, and PhD candidate Asel Sagynbay. The discussions covered key aspects of sustainable development, mechanisms for monitoring progress, and evaluating achieved results. Participants exchanged experiences and best practices aimed at advancing the SDGs in Kazakhstan.
The participation of faculty members in this seminar contributes to strengthening academic expertise in sustainable development and integrating modern approaches into educational and research processes.
