Within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality Education", the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of 51 Kazakh National University organized a refresher  course for the  teachers of the Urgensky State Pedagogical Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan). The head of the Department,  Doctor of Philological Sciences, Full Professor A.B. Temirbolat, Candidate of Philological Sciences S.B. Tleubaev, PhD, Acting Associate Professor G.R. Dautova, senior lecturer B.B. Bayazitov lectured   the teachers of USPI about  the trends in the development of modern literary and folklore studies.

        Within the framework of advanced training at 51 Kazakh National University, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of USPI Eshchanova Gavkhar Atazhanovna conducted a master class on the topic: "Interrelations of folklore of Kazakh and Uzbek peoples" for the  2ndyear students of t "6B02305 – Kazakh Philology"  major.   Gafhar Atazhanovna showed  the similarities and differences between the epics "Kozy-Korpesh-Bayan Sulu" and "Kyz Zhibek".

        During the master class, the students asked questions to Associate Professor G.A. Eshchanova. They discussed the traditions and  the customs of Kazakh and Uzbek peoples. The event was organized by  the 1st-year PhD  students of  "Literary Studies"  major Ayazhan Toibazar, Yekpin Yeldos, the  1st-year master's  degree student of the  "Kazakh Philology" major  Gulnaz Askarova.
