A guest lecture on the topic "The role of supervision in meeting social work standards"
On 02/19/2025, at 11:00 a.m., Director of the branch of the NGO National Alliance of Professional Social Workers of Almaty and the Almaty region, expert of the Public Council of Almaty, Zhanar Abdykalykova Nurakhmetovna, gave a guest lecture on the topic "The role of supervision in meeting social work standards" for students of the 2-3 courses of the specialty Social Work.
Supervision is of great importance in the prevention of professional burnout of a young specialist. During the lecture, Zhanar Nurakhmetovna told future social work specialists about the theoretical and practical problems of the institute of supervision in the country. The lecturer shared his own experience of organizing accompanying supervision and conducted a practical exercise with future specialists. As a result, the students shared their impressions and exchanged opinions.
The lecture is organized as part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 - quality education).
