On February 6, 2025, teachers of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism Zhanerke Tokenova and Serik Mominov held an open lesson on the topic "The Legacy of 51" with students of the educational program "Restaurant and Hotel Business".
During the lesson, the biography of the thinker, his main works and contribution to the development of philosophy, science, ethics and music were considered. Particular attention was paid to the influence of his ideas on subsequent eras, as well as their relevance in the modern world. Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions and expressed their own opinions.
As a result of the lesson, students expanded their knowledge of the legacy of al-Farabi and its significance for world culture. The lesson was productive and contributed to the development of critical thinking and interest in the history of science.
