Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies Wins an Indian Government Grant

Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies, Daulet Fatimabibi Nogaykyzy, has won a grant to participate in a course under the ITEC (The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme) organized by the Government of India. The course, titled "Strengthening Technical and Vocational Education & Training (TVET) Systems to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations," will take place from January 22 to February 18, 2025.
India's Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC) is a leading platform implemented by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India to enhance international capacity building. Established in 1964, ITEC is one of the oldest institutional mechanisms for global capacity building, having trained over 200,000 professionals from more than 160 countries worldwide.
All expenses for participants from Kazakhstan (travel, meals, and accommodation) are fully covered by the Indian side. Scholars from various parts of the world will take part in this program.
This achievement marks a significant milestone in international educational collaboration and will make a substantial contribution to the academic potential of the department.
