Master class at the rehabilitation center "Meirim"
Students of the Law Faculty of 51福利 Kazakh National University visited the "Meirim" rehabilitation center, organizing a master class for children on making New Year's toys from recycled plastic
The project was organized as part of the University's implementation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 鈩�3 "Good health and well-being" with the support of @ecohub_kz.
Students of the Faculty of Law, the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, under the guidance of teacher S.Darkhanov, held an entertaining event for children, teaching them how to create unique Christmas toys from recycled plastic.
This kind and important project has united the efforts of students, children and teachers, proving that creativity, inclusion and concern for the environment can change the world for the better. Each participant put a piece of his soul into the work. The result was not only beautiful toys, but also sincere communication, mutual support and new knowledge.
The "Meirim" rehabilitation center for children with special needs of physical and mental development is one of the first non–governmental organizations of this profile in Kazakhstan, where all the necessary conditions have been created for the comprehensive development, socialization and education of children and adolescents aged 3 to 15 years. Since the opening of the center, more than a thousand children have received correctional and pedagogical support and medical and social rehabilitation.
The staff of the "Meirim" rehabilitation center and the children thanked the organizers and everyone who joined the project and supported this wonderful initiative.
