On November 29, 2024, the  seminar on the topic:  "Languages ​​Day" was held with  the 4th year students of of Russian language and literature major  in  Dormitory 17. On September 5, the whole country celebrates the Day of the Languages ​​of the People of Kazakhstan. According to the Resolution No. 689 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2017 "On approval of the list of holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan", September 5, that is, on the occasion of the birthday of Ahmet Baitursynov. The day of languages ​​of the people of Kazakhstan was announced. At the legislative level, every citizen has the opportunity to learn and develop his mother tongue, because each language has its own destiny closely connected with other languages ​​of the country. Language is the living soul of the people, its joy, pain, memory, treasure. There is no language that does not deserve respect. This is the power of Kazakhstan. The unity of the languages ​​and cultures of the multinational people is a monolith of friendship that forms the future of the country. Language is the good of the people, it contributes to the unity and cooperation of nations. Language is a tool of education and a pillar of communication between people. Language Day is a sign of friendship, kinship and unity of all citizens of Kazakhstan, and friendship, mutual understanding and cooperation of peoples is the main pillar of state building. This holiday was established in independent Kazakhstan in 1998 and was first celebrated on the third Sunday of September. The holiday was moved to 2017 to coincide with the birthday of the outstanding educator Ahmet Baitursynuly. Today, in the list of holidays, this date is set for September 5. The Day of the Languages ​​of the People of Kazakhstan is very important for the citizens of our country, because it gives an opportunity to see the cultural diversity and uniqueness of each ethnic group living in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The mother tongue of every nation is its property and value. Language is a bridge that transmits the spiritual heritage of the people from generation to generation. Students actively participated in the seminar, shared their opinions about languages, talked about world-famous polyglots.
