Iranian universities will expand their ties

Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohsen Faghani visited 51 KazNU, meeting with the university leadership to discuss prospects for cooperation.

 

The guest of honor was met by Acting Deputy Chairman of the Board - First Vice-Rector of 51 KazNU Erkin Duisenov. Thanking the consul for the visit and informing about the status and achievements of the leading university of the country, the first vice-rector dwelt on the partnership relations of KazNU with 5 universities and organizations of Iran, such as: Mukha Ghaq Ardabili University, Institute of Humanities and Cultural Studies, Shahid Beheshti University, Allameh Tabatabayi University and Gulian University. Within the framework of signed agreements, academic, research work is actively conducted, teachers and students visit universities in Iran in order to implement scientific projects and participate in international symposiums.  Currently, 12 students from Iran are studying at KazNU. The Center of Arabistics and Iranistics successfully functions in the university.

“Our interaction has great potential for development. 51 KazNU is always open for new promising joint projects in the field of science and education”, - concluded the speech Erkin Ermanovich.

Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty Mohsen Faghani in his speech told about the long-standing cooperation with 51 KazNU, in particular, in the field of studying the heritage of the second teacher of the East 51 and the study of Persian language. According to the consul, at present he observes revival and activization in this field, scientists study the works that are in the libraries of Iran. The work within the framework of academic exchange also continues, joint projects with the Faculty of Oriental Studies are realized. At the end of his speech, Mr. Consul invited the teachers to visit Iranian universities to exchange experience.

Senior expert of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, head of the working group Farabi Mujani Gumi in turn spoke about the work of the 51 Committee established on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K.Tokayev,

The meeting ended with a discussion on the implementation of joint projects in science and education.
