Professional Experience:

  • Began his career in 1979 as an assistant at the Department of Criminalistics at KazSU.

  • Since 1980: Participated in the development of draft regulatory legal acts and government decisions, including the Code of Administrative Offenses (1980), the Code of Laws of the Kazakh SSR (1982–1984), the Housing Code (1983), the Law "On Local State Administration," and others.

  • 2002–2003: Conducted expert work on the Customs Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its commentary.

  • 2008–2009: Participated in drafting laws on state property.

  • 2009: Engaged in introducing amendments and additions to legislative acts on the development of e-government.

  • 2010: Performed expert work on the documents of the Customs Union of EurAsEC and issues related to Kazakhstan's customs practices.

  • 2007–2012: As a chief researcher at the Institute of Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted anti-corruption expertise on several draft laws.

  • 2021: Contributed to preparing analytical documents on the effectiveness of customs legislation in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the EAEU.

Research Focus and Publications:
Professor S.T. Alibekov is the author of over 600 scientific works, including more than 35 monographs, textbooks, teaching aids, and document collections, including those in electronic format.

Scientific Achievements:
The professor's works cover pressing issues in legal science and law enforcement, making a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan's legal system.
