On October 29, 2024, the faculty of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology met with representatives of Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power (ZJWEU) as part of efforts to achieve Sustainable Development SDGs)4 and 6.

ZJWEU is the only applied undergraduate engineering university in Zhejiang Province, specializing in water resources and hydropower. The university is actively advancing educational activities aimed at enhancing water resource management and hydropower technologies, placing great importance on high-quality and distinctive development.

During the meeting, faculty members discussed prospects for an international agreement focused on promoting experience exchange between students and faculty of the two universities. This cooperation is expected to enhance the professional development of students and educators while strengthening ties in the fields of science and education.
