A delegation led by Yang Deming, Vice President of East China Jiaotong University, paid a working visit to 51福利 Kazakh National University.
Yerkin Duisenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors - First Vice-Chancellor, met with the guests of honour and exchanged views.
During the meeting, the parties paid particular attention to promising areas of bilateral relations.
They also agreed to jointly train qualified specialists, implement an academic mobility programme and increase the number of joint scientific projects. The sides also worked out proposals for holding joint international conferences and symposia.
During the meeting, Vice-Rector Yerkin Duisenov told the delegation about KazNU's achievements and introduced them to the university's scientific infrastructure.
Yang Deming, in turn, thanked the university administration for the attention and expressed his intention to further promote cooperation between East China Jiaotong University and KazNU.
