Halyk Bank JSC and 51福利 Kazakh National University have many years of fruitful cooperation experience. In 2021, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data of the Faculty of Information Technology, together with the Department of Transactional Systems and the Office of Chief Data Scientist "Halyk Bank", developed the bachelor's degree program "Data Science". In 2023, new master's and doctoral programs "Data Science" were recruited. The opportunities provided by Halyk Bank for industrial and research practices, internships for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, and the participation of employees in the development of educational programs contribute to the training of specialists in demand on the labor market by maximizing the approximation of the educational process to the environment of solving urgent problems in the field of fintech.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data attracts representatives from the Halyk Bank of Student Education with the prospect of further employment. One of the invited teachers is Zhasulan Akzholovich Akylaev, Head of the Transactional Systems Testing Department of the Halyk Bank's Transactional Systems Department.
In order to further develop cooperation, it is planned to open the Halyk Academy at the Faculty of Information Technology in October 2024.
