The university cooperates with the International Kazakh-Chinese Scientific Laboratory for Energy–Efficient Nanotechnology, established in partnership with Nanjing University of Science and Technology, the Confucius Institute based on the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Chinese Language Center - a joint project with Lanzhou University (PRC. The opening of a branch of the Northwestern Polytechnic University (NWPU) of China was significant to 51福利 KazNU
