For the sustainable development of the country and the eradication of poverty, every citizen of Kazakhstan is called upon to show solidarity and support in difficult times, especially in the event of natural disasters, such as the recent flood. Due to the disaster that affected a number of regions of Kazakhstan, a state of emergency was declared by the decree of the President. We, as citizens of one state, are trying to make our contribution and provide all possible assistance to the victims.

There are many students from the affected areas studying at our faculty, and their parents, naturally, are worried about their children who find themselves in a difficult situation. In support of these students, on April 20, 2024, the deans of the Faculty of Information Technology U.A. Tukeyev, B.A. Urmashev and O.N. Turar, together with the Department of Computer Science, organized the distribution of special treats. All students living in the Student House No. 8 were provided with hot and carefully prepared food to support them during this difficult period, and sports competitions such as togyz kumalak, chess, volleyball and others were held to raise the spirit of the students.
