February 16, 2023, an excursion听was held听for first-year students of the L22K1 group of the specialty听芦Logistics禄听together with the curator of the group听Baimukhanbetova听E.E. to the Biological Museum of听KazNU.
The Biological Museum听was founded听in 1936. The Biological Museum of the University is unique in its kind not only for the Republic of Kazakhstan,听but听for the entire CIS. The museum is a research and educational center that assists in the training of biological specialists.
The whole world magically fits in the halls of the museum. A sightseeing tour is a unique opportunity to see the world in an hour and a half. The guide talked about how diverse living organisms are on our planet, how life originated and developed, how evolution took place, how animals and plant organisms are arranged, what the biosphere is, how living organisms interact with each other, what is an ecosystem, what place in the biosphere occupies a person and his activities. All these questions听are clarified听during a fascinating walk through the museum. Each hall brings new discoveries and impressions, a succession of worlds: forest, desert, sea, tundra, meadow.
The museum plays a special role in the educational process. The museum receives a large number of visitors, including schoolchildren, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of universities in Almaty, as well as foreign and honored guests of the university. Excursions听are conducted听in Kazakh and Russian languages. Students and curator of the group听Baimukhanbetova听E.E. expressed gratitude to the staff of the museum for their excellent work.
