On December 27, the 2nd-year doctoral student of the "Oriental studies" department of Chinese studies, Sabigazina Saule, held a scientific seminar on the topic "Modernization trends in the field of higher education and science in modern Chinese society."  During the seminar, problems and results of the reforms for the development of the higher education system of the PRC are discussed. At the end of the seminar, questions were asked and discussed.
