Training seminar of a foreign professor within the framework of the HSE Winter School
顿别肠别尘产别谤听20, 2022 at 11:00听am till 01:00 pm.听invited professor of the Department of Management,听PhD听Aizhaz Sheikh (University of Jyvaskyla, Jyvaskyla, Finland) held a training seminar on "How to promote scientific publications of culture in Kazakhstan?"听Seminar was aimed听to increase the scientific and publication activity of students and teaching staff of the Higher School of Economics and Business.听Event was held听in听the frame of听Winter School.听During the seminar听a听stages of preparing a high-quality scientific publication听was听considered听as well as听issues of scientific publications听ethics, international initiatives and standards for authors听were discussed.
Aizhaz Sheikh is a foreign scientific consultant听fordoctoral students听at听the听Management鈥檚听Department. Hecollaborates with Department in听the frame听of听attracting a foreign professor听program.听Support in preparation of doctoral student鈥檚 proposals,听participation听in grant programs,听design an听international projects听as well asscientific articles for publication in peer-reviewed international journals (Scopus, Thomson Reuters)听were听being done.听Moreover,听Dr.听Aizhaz Sheikh听reviewsscientific publications and teaching materials in orderto improve their content. The听h-index of听Dr.听Aizhaz听in the Scopus database is 16.
