A 4th-year student of the specialty "Translation" Zhaksylyk Nurzhanat took 3rd place at the 12th International Student Olympiad in Korean Studies, which was held on November 26 at��KAUIR&WL, Kazakh Ablai Khan University.

120 students from 16 universities of 4 countries took part in the Olympiad: Kazakhstan, Korea, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. At the public speaking competition , 3 topics were proposed: "Love", "Friendship", "Happiness", the contestants used lots to choose a topic for their performance.

�������� Nurzhanat presented the theme "Friendship", thanks to her great interest in Korean culture and the Korean language, she won the 3rd place among the participants who speak Korean perfectly. Preparing for public speaking, the student not only improved her level of language proficiency, but also became an example for other students.
