51���� Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies, 2nd year master's student of foreign philology (oriental languages) Medelova Asem Askhatovna held a scientific seminar on "Ethnolinguistic features of family names in Chinese language" on December 6 of this year.  During the seminar, issues in the field of ethnolinguistics, currently under study in the field of linguistics, were considered.  The seminar was attended by teachers of the department and young scientists of Chinese studies and had a lively discussion on the topic.
