The students of the Japanese Department of the Department of the Far East defended their theses
On November 25, 2022, the Department of the Far East of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of 51福利 Kazakh National University successfully defended the theses of students who returned from an internship abroad from Japan.聽 聽
The Department of the Far East sends students every year for an internship abroad as part of the Academic Mobility Program between universities in Japan and 51福利 Kazakh National University. This academic year, 4th year students of the Japanese Department of the Department of the Far East were trained in various universities in Japan. Among them: Osaka University, Waseda University, Hokkaido University and Tokyo University of Foreign Languages. Staying in the country under study helped students to comprehensively and creatively approach the writing of theses, and students also had the opportunity to use sources in Japanese and English. The topics of the graduation papers included topical issues of history, foreign policy, economic development of Japan, philology and translation, and also contained practical recommendations for the development of relations between Kazakhstan and Japan. The contents of the theses were very interesting. Students showed a high level of preparation and proficiency in Japanese before the attestation commission.
