On November 2, 2022, Mukatay Klara, a first-year doctoral student majoring in Foreign Philology from the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, gave an academic seminar entitled "The Social Significance of Chinese Internet Vocabulary Research".

The leadership of the department, doctoral students, graduate students and teachers attended the seminar. In the seminar, Klara explained that with the rapid development of the Internet, Internet vocabulary has attracted more and more attention from linguistics and has gradually become a research hotspot, and explained the importance of Internet vocabulary research from the perspective of sociolinguistics. At the end of the lecture, participants asked questions and exchanged opinions.
