On October 27, a solemn event "99 years of the Republic of Turkey" was held at the Azerbaijani Center of the TURKSOY Department
The solemn event was opened by the Acting Dean of the Faculty, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Em Natalia Borisovna. He analyzed the development path of Turkey from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present, emphasizing the important political role of Turkey in the Middle East and emphasizing the inviolability of Kazakh-Turkish friendship. And the head of the department of TURKSOY PhD Gabdullin Kenzhebek Tolepbergenovich spoke about the ties between Turkey and Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by guests from the Turkish city of Kirsehir Osman Kabadayi and Jeren Kabadayi, Turkish PhD teachers Selenay Koshumju, PhD Nureddin Cakir, the teaching staff of the TURKSOY department and students.
Students of the TURKSOY department read excerpts from the appeal to the Turkish youth and patriotic speeches of the founder of the Turkish Republic and the great commander of the twentieth century, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Patriotic Turkish songs were sung and patriotic poems were read at the gala evening.
