New impetus for relations between the two countries
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid a state visit to Russia at the invitation of Vladimir Putin. The status of the state visit of our president was high, the weight was overwhelming. Because in Moscow, the leaders of the two countries met to discuss the main directions of multi-Plan cooperation between the two sides, and a number of important documents for the two countries were signed. This visit is of historical importance in terms of raising strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries to a new level.
For thirty years, the two countries have been developing rapidly, starting with the economy, cultural and humanitarian ties and interstate partnership. Relations between Kazakhstan and Russia are at a high level. Today, the two countries are recognized as strategic partners. Russia is one of the leading investors who have invested in the country's economy. For example, over the past year, the volume of attracted investments in Kazakhstan has reached 4 billion dollars. More than 20 thousand companies with Russian capital successfully operate in Kazakhstan. As a result, thousands of jobs have been created in the country, giving a new impetus to economic growth.
According to official data, about 100 thousand Kazakh students study in foreign countries, about 70 thousand of them study in Russia. It is known that along with such large cities as Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan, the border regions also have a large number of young people who choose Russian educational institutions. In addition, negotiations are underway to open the best technical universities in Russia in the country.
The main key documents during the meeting are the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan with the participation of "Rosatom"", the expansion of the corridor "Western Europe-western China" and the development of the route "north – south". Therefore, K. Tokayev stressed that "this document confirms the high level of trust between the two countries and marks the beginning of a new era of cooperation".
In addition to the economy, the sides discussed in detail the issues of strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
Undoubtedly, the results of the meeting will give a new impetus to relations between the two countries. Because I believe that the new agreements in the field of energy, gas and oil are an important step that will benefit the rapid growth of the economy, strengthen friendship and economic stability between the two countries.
