ʵ World Science Day – SDG 4, SDG 9 and SDG 13 Focus
On November 10, 2025, students of groups BB23-07 and BB23-10 of the 6B05102 – Biology program at the Department of Biology and Biotechnology, 51 KazNU, held a scientific round table dedicated to World Science Day.
The event was organized under the guidance of PhD in Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, Curator Advisor Asem Tleuzhankyzy Mamurova.
During the round table, students organized interactive stands on scientific topics on campus and conducted informational sessions on ecological research, biotechnology achievements, genetics, and climate change issues. They also demonstrated practical experiments to show the impact of science and technology on everyday life.
Science is the foundation of societal development. It allows people to access reliable information, develop innovative solutions, and ensure sustainable development. Globally, scientific research focuses on addressing pressing issues such as energy saving, biodiversity conservation, and climate change adaptation.
World Science Day promotes youth engagement in science, development of research skills, and popularization of science. Students actively participated, showcasing their scientific projects, ideas, and ecological initiatives.
This event supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including:
