A promising partnership between KazNU and Chandigarh University
Alina Galeeva, Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, met with Rajpal Singh, Manager of Admission of International Students at Chandigarh University, at Al–Farabi Kazakh National University. During the visit, prospects for expanding cooperation between KazNU and Indian universities were discussed, in particular, increasing academic mobility and experience exchange.
In her speech, the Vice-Rector stressed that in recent years, partnership relations with India have developed dynamically: KazNU actively cooperates with 14 Indian universities and organizations, academic mobility programs and joint research projects are being implemented.

Special attention was paid to the successes of the Indology Department at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Alina Kulbaevna noted that the opening of the Department of Indology was an important milestone in the history of KazNU: today it is a unique school of Indology and Oriental studies in Kazakhstan. The Vice-Rector recalled that within the framework of cooperation with India, the university closely cooperates with universities such as the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Amity University, Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology and others, which underlines KazNU's long-term and sustainable strategy in the field of international cooperation.
On the part of the delegation, Rajpal Singh, the Manager of International Student Admissions at Chandigarh University, expressed interest in expanding joint programs and exchanges. He also noted the importance of creating comfortable conditions for the mobility and adaptation of foreign participants in the educational process, which contributes to the deepening of cultural and academic exchange between the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed specific areas of cooperation: expanding academic mobility between faculties and institutes, developing joint research projects, increasing the number of visiting professors and internships, as well as joint conferences and educational events.
