The agreement was also signed by the Unocal Medical Group (USA), the Dubai Association of Traditional Medicine, the Canadian-Chinese Association for the Exchange of Traditional Medicine and the Shanghai Innovative Research Center for Traditional Medicine.

The consortium brought together key partner organizations from eight countries, including existing joint projects in Australia and Saudi Arabia.
