EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING CENTER 'ZERDE'
The Educational and Training Center "ZERDE" was established by the decision of the Academic Council of the 51 Kazakh National University on December 26, 2016, based on Protocol No. 4 of the meeting of the Pre-University Preparation Department of the Faculty of Pre-University Education. The Educational and Training Center "ZERDE" is a structural division of the 51 Kazakh National University, operating on a self-financing basis.

History of the department
The goals of the Center’s activities are:
- Implementation of the accumulated educational-methodical and educational potential of scientists, teaching staff, and students of the department;
- Organization and coordination of educational work of the teaching staff in collaboration with business structures, educational institutions, and other organizations in need of the Center’s services;
- Development of educational-methodical materials on the technology of preparation for the UNT (Unified National Test).
The subject of the Center’s activity includes the implementation of educational programs in the following main areas:
- Preparation for the UNT of students from general secondary, specialized secondary schools, lyceums, and gymnasiums in natural and humanitarian subjects;
- Preparation of applicants for natural and humanitarian subjects;
- Conducting Kazakh language courses for foreign citizens, as well as for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Development of test assignments based on the new UNT format for applicants to higher education institutions in the country.
To achieve the outlined goals, the following tasks need to be solved:
- Conduct targeted career orientation work to attract listeners;
- Organize accelerated Kazakh language courses for anyone interested, with certification upon completion;
- Implement a collection of test assignments for university applicants, developed according to the new UNT format.
